Grate is an independent cheesemonger based in Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne. The owner Moz required a website that has eCommerce functionality so she can sell her wide range of products online as well as in-store. With the festive season approaching, she needed the website up quickly to be able to sell her Christmas hampers and selections to her growing fanbase.

The website we created for Grate was completely bespoke and had multiple complex eCommerce functionality features, such as gift wrapping on only selected products, discount and offer rules on both shipping and cart. It allowed the clients customers to choose collection on certain dates and times, as well as selected products having different designated potential collection slots at checkout. The client required all of these features to be able to easily manage the stock-flow of fresh cheeses, and to ensure they are always ready, available and fresh for her customers, as well as manage collection capacities for customers arriving to the store.

The site has over 100 products with attributes such as origin, pasteurised status, category and milk type. We are so pleased with how we have made such a complex site so user-friendly for both Moz and her clients.
